Street Shine - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Street Shine! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before booking your service.

1. Services Provided

Street Shine offers a variety of mobile car valeting and detailing services, including interior and exterior cleaning, sealant applications, ceramic coatings, and our specialized packages.

Our services are provided by fully trained professionals endorsed by Auto Glym and are fully insured.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made through our website, phone, email, in person, or any of our social medias.

Payments can be made via cash, card machine, bank transfer, or any other methods specified at the time of booking.

A deposit may be required for certain packages or services, especially for high-value services like ceramic coating, enhancement packages, and machine polishing packages.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations made more than 36 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

Cancellations made within 36 hours of the scheduled service may forfeit the deposit.

Rescheduling is allowed up to 12 hours before the appointment without any additional fees.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure their vehicle is accessible for service at the agreed location and time.

Vehicles should be emptied of personal belongings before the service begins. Street Shine is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.

5. Service Limitations

Street Shine may decline to perform certain services if there are safety concerns if the vehicle is deemed unsuitable for the service booked, or if weather conditions affect the quality or feasibility of the work.

For certain services, such as ceramic coatings, gloss enhancement, or machine polishing, a clean and undamaged surface is necessary for optimal results. Please inform us of any significant pre-existing issues prior to the appointment.

6. Service Guarantees

Street Shine offers specific warranty periods on certain treatments (e.g., ceramic coatings and waxes). The longevity of these treatments depends on proper vehicle care, which we are happy to advise on.

We are committed to delivering the highest standards of care and quality with every service. If you are not satisfied with your service, we offer the following resolution process:
​1. Report the Issue: Notify us within 7 days of your service. Provide details and, if possible, photos of the area(s) of concern.
2. Assessment: We will assess the issue and discuss possible resolutions with you.
3. Resolution Options: Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- A partial or full redo of the affected area(s) at no additional cost.
- A discount on future services as a goodwill gesture.
- A partial or full refund.

Our goal is to ensure every customer is completely satisfied and confident in the quality of our work.

7. Liability

Street Shine is fully insured and takes all precautions to ensure the safety and security of your vehicle. However, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

In the unlikely event of damage to your vehicle, we will work with you to assess and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

8. Privacy Policy

Street Shine respects your privacy. Any personal information collected during booking or service (such as contact details) will only be used to fulfil your booking, communicate about your services, and offer promotional information (if opted in). We do not share your information with third parties.

9. Force Majeure

Street Shine shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to, extreme weather, natural disasters, accidents, equipment failure, or unforeseen events such as illness or travel disruptions.
In the event of a Force Majeure incident:
- We will notify you as soon as possible and explain the situation.
- Rescheduling will be prioritized based on the original order of bookings, ensuring fairness and minimizing disruption for all clients.
- If rescheduling is not possible, any deposits paid will be refunded in full.

10. Weather Conditions

As a mobile service provider, Street Shine’s ability to perform services is dependent on favourable weather conditions. In cases of rain, high humidity, extreme temperatures, or other adverse weather conditions, we may need to reschedule or cancel appointments to ensure service quality and avoid potential damage to your vehicle’s interior and exterior components.

If a service needs to be rescheduled due to weather, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new appointment at a mutually convenient time.

Street Shine is not responsible for any delays or inconveniences caused by weather-related rescheduling or cancellations.

11. Pre-Existing Damage

Street Shine is not responsible for any pre-existing damage, defects, or imperfections that may become more apparent after cleaning or detailing.

This includes but is not limited to, scratches, dents, paint imperfections, upholstery stains, or any other damage that was already present on the vehicle.

If you have concerns about specific areas of your vehicle, please inform us before the service begins so we can address them appropriately.

12. Excessive Dirt and or Pet Hair
-
Vehicles that are excessively dirty and or contain a significant amount of pet hair may require additional time and effort to clean.

In such cases, an extra charge will be applied. This will be communicated to you before the service begins.

If you have concerns about your vehicle's condition, please let us know when booking, so we can provide accurate pricing and scheduling.

13. Child Seats

For safety and liability reasons, Street Shine does not remove or reinstall child seats during the cleaning process.

If you would like the area beneath and around the child seat cleaned, please ensure the seat is removed prior to our arrival.

14. Vehicle Modifications or Add-Ons

If your vehicle has aftermarket modifications, accessories, or add-ons, please inform us beforehand. Street Shine is not responsible for damage to non-standard equipment unless disclosed and agreed upon prior to the service.

15. Before and After Photos

Street Shine may take photos of your vehicle before and after the service for quality assurance, insurance and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have photos used for promotional purposes, please inform us in advance.

16. Vehicle Accessibility

The vehicle must be parked in an area that is easily accessible and safe for the service to be performed. Street Shine reserves the right to refuse service if access is unsafe or restricted.

17. Environmentally Friendly Practices

Street Shine uses eco-friendly products and practices whenever possible. If you have specific environmental concerns, please let us know before the appointment.

18. Modifications to Terms

Street Shine reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
